Reams Estate Sale Auction:

We are honored to announce that the Reams Estate Sale in Irving, TX is open for bidding, and will be closing June 26, 2021 beginning at 7pm CST - preview is scheduled June 26, 2021 from 1-3pm CST and pick-up is on June 27, 2021 from noon-6pm CST. Mr. and Mrs. Reams spent their lives collecting and creating beautiful works of art, many of which you now have the opportunity to acquire. The late Mr. Reams was a lifelong Texan, an avid fisherman, and a skilled artist whose works have been exhibited in 5 states, as well as throughout his home state. His style was bold and colorful, competing in art contests with a variety of works - some of the pieces in our auction are contest entries, and many are beautifully framed. Although the majority of his works have already been sold, the paintings and sculptures available to you here are a blend of modernism and expressionism styles, likely completed between 1975-1995. Mrs. Reams was an animal lover, and prolific and knowledgeable collector of vintage glassware, including Fire-King, Jeannette and McKee Jade-ite, Royal Ruby Anchor Glass, and Depression glass. She was well studied in vintage collectibles, and compiled a large collection of vintage jewelry and household items made of Lucite (including some Birkraft), Bakelite and Celluloid. While we always encourage preview, we particularly recommend coming to preview if bidding on the original works of art (they are stunning in person) or the pieces from her amazing jewelry collection as many items are made of sought after vintage hard plastic materials including Bakelite and Lucite. From the gorgeous fine art, to the mid-century furniture and 1930s glassware, to the amazing vintage and antique jewelry, you won't want to miss this one!
