Reams Estate Sale Auction:
We are honored to announce that the Reams Estate Sale in Irving, TX is open for bidding, and will be closing June 26, 2021 beginning at 7pm CST - preview is scheduled June 26, 2021 from 1-3pm CST and pick-up is on June 27, 2021 from noon-6pm CST. Mr. and Mrs. Reams spent their lives collecting and creating beautiful works of art, many of which you now have the opportunity to acquire. The late Mr. Reams was a lifelong Texan, an avid fisherman, and a skilled artist whose works have been exhibited in 5 states, as well as throughout his home state. His style was bold and colorful, competing in art contests with a variety of works - some of the pieces in our auction are contest entries, and many are beautifully framed. Although the majority of his works have already been sold, the paintings and sculptures available to you here are a blend of modernism and expressionism styles, likely completed between 1975-1995. Mrs. Reams was an animal lover, and prolific and knowledgeable collector of vintage glassware, including Fire-King, Jeannette and McKee Jade-ite, Royal Ruby Anchor Glass, and Depression glass. She was well studied in vintage collectibles, and compiled a large collection of vintage jewelry and household items made of Lucite (including some Birkraft), Bakelite and Celluloid. While we always encourage preview, we particularly recommend coming to preview if bidding on the original works of art (they are stunning in person) or the pieces from her amazing jewelry collection as many items are made of sought after vintage hard plastic materials including Bakelite and Lucite. From the gorgeous fine art, to the mid-century furniture and 1930s glassware, to the amazing vintage and antique jewelry, you won't want to miss this one!
- "In-Home Estate Auction protocol: Unlike most of our on-site auctions in Bells, this is an in-home estate auction in an actual home that we were hired to empty. Please be advised that when you bid on a lot that says entire contents of this or that, it means you are agreeing to take the entire thing. It does not mean that you can leave part of it, or put it in the clients trash, etc. because sometimes clients are turning keys over to new homeowners the very next day. We nearly always lose access to the home at the end of the pickup day stated, so it is crucial you ensure you'll be available on the stated pick-up day before you bid. These items aren't available for late pick ups or for bringing back to the warehouse for late pickups. We would love to, but it's not logistically possible - we need you to be able to pickup during the times stated."
- Preview is Saturday 1 - 3pm.
- Pick up is Sunday, June 27 , from 12noon- 6pm.
- Please bring your own packing materials and help to load for bulky and heavier items.
- There is a 15% buyer's premium , 3% discount on premium when paying cash.
- All invoices will include sales tax unless exempt.
- Payment methods include cash, debit and most major credit cards. No checks accepted.
- Bidders who do not pay invoice by the end of pick up day are subject to losing bidder privileges.
- All Items are " AS IS, WHERE IS " with NO GUARANTEE EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED! It is the bidders responsibility to preview items to verify authenticity and condition!! ALL SALES ARE FINAL w/ NO RETURNS!!!
- All items must be picked up by the end of pick up day. If you are unable to pay and/or pickup on scheduled pickup day, you need to text 469-450-8047 or email t4694508047@gmail.com PRIOR To Bidding and make proper arrangements or have someone pickup for you.
